NINTH CONTINGENT.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. It has been finally that the North Island battalion of the Ninth Contingent will be mobilised at Auckland, and the South Island battalion at Dunedin.
The Surrey is to take 570 horses to South Africa; of these 100 will be shipped at Auckland.
