RIFLE SHOOTING.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ” Wellington, last night. The annual Open Handicap of the' ■ Wellington Gun Club was fired to-day. Fifteen competitors killed seven birds each. They divided .£135, and shot off for the balance of the stake. The last three left in the shoot-off were F. Redwood, of Blenheim, C. Annandale, a champion New South Wales shot, well known as “ Gorriek,” and H. J. Price, of Christchurch. The first-named missed one bird, which put him out, and the other two divided. Seven divided in the £1 sweepstake. Annandale only missed one bird out of forty-six, off the 32yds mark.
