By Telegraph—Press Association. Greymouth, last night. Sir Joseph Ward and Lady Ward were entertained at a banquet to-night by the local bodies, representatives, and citizens in the Opera House, the Mayor presiding. Over 150 sat down, a number of ladies being also present. The gallery was well filled with spectators, the ladies being very numerous. To morrow night Mr Ward delivers a political address by special request of the citizens. Westport, last night.'- Wjf At a representative meeting of citizens - to-nigbt, it was decided to entertain Sir Joseph Ward at a public banquet on the occasion of his visit next week.
