SINKING OF VESSELS.

The revolutionary vessels Padilla, Darien, and Gaitau attempted to force a landing at Sabina, Panama Bay. The Columbian Government vessels, Lantara and Chicuato, assisted by guns from Lasboveda, resisted. The Padilla attacked the Lantara at close quarters, burning and sinking her, after the crew had deserted. Tho superintendent of the Panama railway has cabled to New York that three insurgent and two Government vessels ha-ve been sunk. The Governor of Alban was killed during an engagement.
