NAPIER NEWS.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. At the meeting of the Napier Borough Council to-night, it was unanimously resolved to send a cablegram to Mr Chamberlain, expressing the Council’s high admiration of the firmness displayed by him during the present outburst of Anglophobia. In proof of the popularity of the sea bathing facilities provided by the Council, since December 2460 tickets have been issued to bathers. During this very hot weather the beach is daily lined with bathers, especially children. In view of the great demand extra tent accommodation is to be provided.
