South Australia, in their second innings, made 191; Travers 40, Kirkwood 66, Jones 9, extras 15. Noble took 4 wickets for 27, Howell 3 for 71, Clarke 1 for 22, Hopkins 1 for 22. New South Wales won by an innings and 19 runs.
Shield contests will be continued on Victoria Domain to-morrow afternoon, when Whataupoko plays Kaiti and City meets West End. The following team will represent Haiti :—Porter, Gibson, Fairlie, Lyttleton, Seymour, Crawford, Witty, Wheeler, J. H. Colebourne, Peel, and Abel.
