Tho Bank of England returns show the reserve to bo £21,025,000 ; coin and bullion, £31,631,000; proportion of reserve to liabilities, 41'85 ; in circulation, £29,776,000 ; public deposits, £10,401,000; othor deposits, £41,100,000; Government securities, £20,873,000. The total of other securities was mutilated in transmission. Threo months’ bills are at a discount 316. Consols, 98$. New South Wales fours, 116 ; threes, >5; Now Zoaland fours, 111$; three nd a-halfs, 105. Tho wheat market is quiet, but steady, argoes are a shade easier. Victorian anuary-February shipment sold at 30s d; off coast, 31s 3d ; New South Wales ecember-January shipment, 30s. The ■nerican visible supply is estimated at ,900,000 bushels. Cho butter market is dull. Colonial is w of sale at 102 s to 104 s ; occasional ns, 106 s; Danish, 112 s to 114 s. The orthern markets are flat. The cheeso market is firm, but unhanged in price.
