At a largely-attended convention of the United Irish League at Dublin, Mr John Redmond appealed for the establishment of a permanent parliamentary fund of eleven thousand pounds a year. On Mr Dillon’s motion it was resolved that .t was imperative to pass ..immediately a wide scheme of compulsory sale of landlords interests in Ireland to occupiers, and provide lor the reinstatement of evicted tenants..
