A meeting of the Loyal Gisborne Lodge No. 6087, 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held in tho Oddfellows’ Hall, last evening, Bro. B. S. Cox, N.G., presiding. Bro. A. W. Kirk, who represented tho Lodge at the American Oddfellows’ picnic, reported as to the manner in which he had enjoyed himself at the gathering. The new officers for tho ensuing total were installed by Bro. M. G. Nasmith (junr.), P.G., as follows : —Grand Master, Bro. B. S. Cox ; Noble Grand, Bro. A. Kirk; Vice-Grand, Bro. P. Schwabe; Electivo Secretary, Bro. G. Goldsmith ; Lecture Master, Bro. B. S. Cox; Guardian, Bro. W. Burnand, P.V.G. ; Right Supporter of Noble Grand, Bro. A. W Kirk, P.G. ; Left Supporter of Noble Grand, Bro. M. G. Nasmith (jun.), P.G. ; Rffiht Supporter of Vice-Grand, Bro. H. Humphreys, P.V.G. ; Auditors, Bro. W. Cox, P.G. (re-elected), and Bro. C. Goldsmith (re-elected). Three new members were proposed, and other routine business transacted, A meeting of the Loyal Gisborne Juvenile Lodge was also held last evening, Bro. A. W. Kirk, Deputy-Super-intendeut, presiding. Bro. P. Schwabe, Superintendent, presented Bros. A. Harding and Clark with handsome collars of the Order won by them in a competition for the member who introduced the most members during the past quarter. Bros. Harding and Clark tied for first honors. Bro. C. H. Ambridgc, P.S., addressed the lads in connection with the prize, and ‘ urged tho boys to introduce still more members during the coming quarter, when a prize would bo again given to the juvenile who introduced the most members that quarter.
