Fair Wellington February-April shipment is at 324. / Kauri gum: The stock is 1459 cases. Frozen meat: Mutton, crossbred wethers and maiden ewes, Canterbury, 3 3-8 d; Dunedin and Southland, 3|d; North Island, 3d. Lamb is unchanged in price. River Plato crossbred or Merino wethers, heavy, 3d ; light, 3d. New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201b5, fair average quality, ox fores, 2Jd ; hinds are unchanged. (These prices are official quotations furnished by the Frozen Meat Trade Association. The basis of the quotations is sales of lines of not less than 100 carcases of mutton or lamb, or 25 quarters of beef. All quotations for mutton are for fair average quality).

The avorage price of Canterbury is 8-sd, Southland, Dunedin and Wellington Meat Export Company 3-Jd, other North Island 3d, River Plate 3d. Beef is quiet. New Zealand hinds 4sd, fores 2Jd. There is a good demand for butter at 105 s, Danish 113 s. Cheese is firm at 50s. Hemp is firm, but quiet. There is a better demand for distant deliveries. Good fair Wellington, spot, is at £3B 10s, February to April shipments £3l 10s. The stock of hemp on hand is 258 tons, as against 1537 tons last year. Cocksfoot, is quiet. New Zealand 171 b standard is at 40s per cwt.
