From a good send-off Hikipeno was the first to show up in front, and passing tho main stand was a bit to tho good of Coronet and St. Olga. Through tho bottom turn St. Olga had a length tho best of Hikiponc, and ncross tho bottom stretch Coronet was throe longths behind tho pair. Then camo Val Rosa and Nonetto. Tho field closed up as they drew through the cutting, and as they dashed down to tho half-mile post Nonetto was a length behind Coronet and St. Olga, who were racing in tho lead. Battlcaxo, Coronet, aud Val Rosa were the quickest round the homo turn, but when the field opened out for the run home Nonetto put in his claim, and stalling off Rosclla, scored by a bare length. Battleaxe was three-quarters of a length behind Rosclla. Bluejacket was close up fouth. Time, 2.12 1-5. Toto, 3052. Divs., X2 103 6d and XI 14s 63.
