N.S.W. PARLIAMENT.
A NASTY SLAP FOR NEW ZEALAND.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Dee. 19. The Assembly is holding a protracted sitting in view of the Christmas adjournment to-morrow. In reply to a question whether ho had noticed the cable of the New Zealand Treasurer, referring to tho floating of the New Zealand loan as very satisfactory considering that two millions of the New South Wales loan was still unplaced, the Premier said there was no truth whatever in the statement that two millions wore unplaced. Tho New South Wales Government did place four millions on the market, which was taken, and was a great success. He had not placed, and did not intend to place, another loan on the London market at present, as he could get all the money required locally.
