Three hundred and sixty-six rides and .IT.twU rounds of ammunition were cap'Uivd. The report adds that satisfactory progresses being made. The troops are m excellent spirits. Kruiuinger. while attempting to cross tho block-house line near Ilanover road, was severely wounded and captured with two adjutants. A number of others were seriously wounded.
Major Doman, chasing 350 Boers, captured 18 at Rhenostcr River, also a trek of oxen and ail waggons and supplies. Spence captured 15 of Engelbreeht s Boors in Ermelo district. Major Gough has been severely wounded.
Meetings of tho Vigilance Committee at Capetown adopted a resolution protesting against Sir 11. A. CampbellBannerman's suggestion for tho removal of Mr Chamberlain and Sir A. Milner. The resolutions further declared that loyalists’ retention of office was tho best security for a permanent, just, and honorable settlement, the whole tone of Bannerman's speech being regarded as pernicious and prejudicial to Imperial interests. Sir Gordon Sprigg, who prosided, said }hat the outlook had never been brighter.
