There was beautiful weather, and the course was in splendid condition. There was a good attendance. Ono pound investments were being made on the totalisator, and two dividends were paid where there were six runners. The following arc tho results
Handicap Hurdles : My Lord 1, Roller 2, Ilex 3. Won by six lengths. A very bad third. Mainstay also ran. Iliv., £4 14s.
Clifton Welter : Tsaritsa 1, Peerage 2, Vandyke 3. Nihilist was scratched. Won easily, a good third. Time, 1.17 2-5. Divs., £4 7s and £l.
Eldorslie Trot: Evelyn 1, Kerryall 2, Fair Child 3. Bradlaugh and Minex wore scratched. Master Charlie refused to trot. Won easily, a good third. Time, 5.301-5. Divs., ;£2 Is and j£2 ss. North Otago Handicap: Heiress 1, Wild West 2, Nihilist 3. Won easily by four lengths. Time, 2.14 1-5. Div., £2 Bs.
Grandstand Welter: Oyster 1, Rye 2, Summer Rose 3. Won by a head, fivo lengths separating second and third. Time, 1.17 4-5. Div., j£2 Bs.
