Duhief, the reporter of the French Foreign Office, referring to tho AngloFrench diplomatic difficulties, complained of England forgetting her solemn promises to ovaeuate Egypt ; condemned the fierce, inhuman pursuit of gain in South Africa where they were trampling human rights, offonding all sentiments of justico and humanity, and alluded to tho brusquoness and selfishness over Fashoda. Franco was more than ever exposed to the risk of finding England in her path in colonial development.
