A splendidly mounted man attacked the accountant of a boot factory aud his companion, conveying the week’s wages from the bank. The accountant bolted, and was pursued botely, the robber firing ,‘continuously. When the (accountant got away the robber maintained a revolver fire at his companion until, armed assistance arriving, the highwayman escaped.
