THE EARTHQUAKES.
CHEVIOT STILL IN A DISTURBED STATE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Tho Secretary to the General PostOffice has received telegrams from Cheviot as follows “ November 21, 8.55 p.m.—Slight shock of earthquake just experienced.” “ November 22, 8 a.m.—Three shocks of earthquake during tho early morning at 4.57, 5.10, and, 7.19. None of a serious nature.”
