A MAD BULL,
[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. Dr Fleming, of Tauranga, was gored in tho abdomen by a bull which ontered his garden when being swum ashore. The doctor’s condition is serious. Mrs Fleming was also knocked down by the bull, but was not seriously hurt. A BAD CASE,
At the Supreme Court this morning, a young Maori named Martin Tane, convicted of attempted rape on a Maori woman, was sentenced to four years' imprisonment and twenty-five lashes.
