GISBORNE v. KAITI.

Tuk bowling match between Gisborne and Haiti was partly played off yesterday afternoon, when Ponsford’s team met that skipped by Witty. The town team, which had a lead of G points on the previous afternoon, settled down to their work in good style, and ultimately won by 23 points to 9. The green was in excellent order, and reflected great credit upon the caretaker, Mr F. Tanslcy. The first of the matches for the handicap singles was played, when Gaudin, owing 4 points, met Sidebottom, owing 2, and an interesting game resulted in favor of the former by 19 points to 16. The following arc the scores in the match for the pennant: Gisborne v. Haiti.
