DEATHS AT SAMOA.
PROMINENT OFFICIALS CARRIED OFF. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Several deaths amongst Europeans are reported from Samoa, the most noticeable being the sudden death of the United States Consul-General, Mr Osborne, and Herr Bause, Imperial German Colonial Secretary. The latter died from the effects of a buggy accident.
