[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, last night. Tho Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union considered last night a letter from the Queensland Union, stating that it cannot send a team to New Zealand next year on tho terms offered by tho New Zealand Union, and suggesting a conference of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Queensland Unions in Sydney next year to arrange for an interchange of visits. After discussion, it was decided to leave the conference question open for tho decision of a future meeting, and to inform Queensland that if it wished a visit from New Zealanders in lOOti it would be advisable to submit at once tho terms it would agree to. It was resolved to inform tho New South Wales Union that there is no prospect of New Zealanders visiting that colony before 1903.
