A BAD CASE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. A young man was arrested at the Upper Hutt yesterday on a charge of indecent assault on a girl thirteen years of age, residing in Mungaroa Valley. VICTORIA HOME. A meeting was held at Government House on Saturday afternoon in connection with the establishment of the Victoria Homo for Maori Girls at Auckland. A large number of persons attended by invitation of the Countess of Ranfurly. An address was delivered by the Rev. E. Bennett, and the Governor and the Hon. J. Carroll also spoke in support of the movement.
