PLAYING WITH MATCHES.
i By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. An accident occurred at Hukerenui recently to the two-veal-old daughter of Mr Lindsay, The girl was evidently playing with a box of matches, which caught fire and set the child’s clothing on lire. Before assistance arrived she was so seriously burned that the child succumbed shortly afterwards.
