During the last five years Miss Deiroy has toured her company over a considerable portion of tiie world, having played in England, South Africa. India, China, Manila, etc. .Miss Deiroy is fully alive to the fact that what fetches the public most is keeping things right- up-to-date, and being possessed of keen business ability it is very seldom that an opportunity is missed by her. As a burlesque artiste and eonmtedienne, it is difficult to find her equal, but it is as a danscuse that she mostly withus the hearts of the people. While in England, Miss Deiroy perfected a lire dance entitled “ She ” (inspired by llidor Haggard’s novel). It was first produced by her at tiro Empire, London. On account of the weird nature and sen Rational character of the dance it very quickly caused quite a furore.
