By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, last night. George Grant, headmaster of the Col-lege-street school, died last evening, ufter three days’ illness. Deceased was known throughout the colony as one of the principal leaders of the prohibition movement. Wellington, last night. Some lo! tons of now season's dairy produce was sent Home by the Wukanui yesterday, 10S tons being from Wellington, 16 from Auckland, and JO from Dunodin. In the Divorce Court a decree nisi was granted in the ease of David Drake v. Annie 11. Drake and Thomas McGovern. This was the sequel to the recent arrest and bringing back of respondent and corespondent from Auckland.
