The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have arrived at Shreider, Ontario. At the wool sales there is a brisk sale of Merinos, which are tirur. Shabby and coarse crossbreds are weak. Local loans totalling three millions have been covered four-fold at an average price of 96:j. Dr. Morriusou, the Times correspondent, states that Kussia is preparing to restore the Shankaikwan railway to the Chinese, provided her outlay on it is reimbursed, and tiiat no foreign soldiers arc allowed to patrol it. Russia is also restoring the Niuehang line. M. Lessar, the new Russian Minister, and Sir E. Sntow, are adjusting the Tientsin siding dispute. The Tougsan collieries, near Tientsin, have a daily output of 1200 tons. Tha Tougsan railway workshops are employing 1700 men in building rolling stock. Shanghai, Get. 10. Prince Ching has requested the withdrawal of all foreign business establishments at Pekin, on the grounds that it is not a treaty port.
