New Plymouth Supreme Court

[By Telegraph—Tress Association.] New Plymouth, last night,

The sitting of the Supreme Court was continued to-day. True bills were returned against Jamos Ireland, theft ; Sheriff Lowe, breaking and entering ; John Cunliffe Greeks, arson ; Thomas Payne, arson, and attempted arson; Allan Cleland, breaking and entering ; Ching Quec, forgery. For the theft of a watch, James Ireland was found guilty and sentenced to two years' imprisonment. On a charge of breaking and entering Sheriff Lowne was acquitted.
