MAIL STEAMERS.
WESTBALIA OBJECTS TO BEING PASSED BY. Bj Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, Sept. 24. A deputation of Western Australian members has protested against the proposed alteration in the port of call of mail steamers. The Federal PostmasterGeneral said the Government had done nothing beyond sending the complaint of the Chamber of Commerce to the Imperial Government.
