AVONDALE RACES —SECOND DAY. XONETTE EASILY WINS THE GUINEAS. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. The second day's racing of the Avondale Jockey Club’s Spring Meeting took place to-day. The weather was favorable, and the attendance satisfactory. The amount put through the totaiisator was £6119 ; where four horses or less started there was only one dividend. The following are the results:—

St. Ursula and St. Olga were prominent in the early stages, but when the field closed up to the distance Volee and Beddington were with them, and a great race to the box resulted in a head victory for St. Ursula, the same between second and third, and the other two right up.
