(Special to Times.) Auckland, last night. The Avondalo .Jockey Club's Spring Meeting will be continued to-morrow, and there should Bo some interesting racing. Most of tho librscs engaged worked at Ellorslio tliis morning. Though some of them look light after Saturday’s exertions, there are others that should bo all the hotter for the racing they have done. Most of the races look open. My selections for the events set opposite their ames are as under: Second Hurdles. —Chancellor 11. and Cavaliero. President's Handicap.—Lady Avon and Tukapima. Avondalo Guineas. Nonettc and Glasgow. Nursery Handicap.—-Spalpeen and Northumberland. Second Pony Handicap.—First Whisper and St. Eoanda. i’lumpton Handicap.—Beddington and St. Ursula.
Second Hack Handicap.— Up-to-Batc and Golden Rose.
Mount Albert Handicap.—Rosolla and Val Rosa.
