Labor Dispute.

(Ity Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. When tho east- of the Brick, Tile, Drain and other Pottery-workers’ Union came before the Conciliation Board to-day the representatives of the employers claimed there was no dispute in the trade, as none of tho employers had received intimation from the union till the demands were filed. They therefore asked the Board to rule there was no case to go on with. The Board agreed to consider the matter in camera and give a decision to-morrow. The employers declared they had been 1 treated by the union with contempt, and if the Board decided there was a case for hearing they would move in the Supreme Court for an order prohibiting the Board proceeding.
