THE BETTING MARKET,
By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright .p, Sydney, Sept. 12. There is some activity in the betting market over the Cups. Grasspan has been installed favorite for the Caulfield Cup at 100 to 8, while Australian Colors, at the same odds, is favorite for the Melbourne Cup, Hautvilliers being a point longer. Ilautvilliers is favorite for the Derby at 2 to 1.
