BEGGING THE GOVERNMENT TO COME TO THE RESCUE.

It is stated that endowment securities have been tampered with, and as far as is known upwards of twelve thousand pounds’ worth of debentures have been stolen, in addition to the cash defalcations, amounting to between j£7OOQ and .£IO,OOO.
