LADY FORESTERS.
Tub Lady Foresters are to be heartilycongratulated on tho success of their annual social gathering held last evening, in the Academy of Music, the social being in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Lodge. There was a very large attendance, and the proceedings throughout were most enjoyable. The committee who carried out the arrangements so well were Sisters A. Taylor, Cameron, Bott, Warren, Besant, Spurdle, Poswillo, Townley, Cuthbert, Anderson, Ford, Seeats, Tansley, Brown, and Philips. Representatives from other lodges were present in strong force. Mr A. Sawyer officiated as M.C. The music was supplied by Mrs Fernandez, and Mr Baty kindly played extras. An excellent supper was provided, and everything was done to make the evening a specially enjoyable one. Such a successful gathering should lead to many new members joining the Lodge. Sister A. Taylor, with Sister Bott as secretary, carried out the main portion of the duties in a manner that reflects the greatest credit on them. Among the representatives of other Lodges were Bros. Bobb, A. Wade, H. Pool, A. Cooper, and Sister C. A. Nasmith, the latter representing the Radies’ Rechabites’ Tent.
