A cablegram from London on Monday announced that Trooper McDonald, of the New Zealand Mounted Rides, had died of enteric fever at Bloemfontein. Tho cable is incorrect. Trooper McDonald returned in tho Britannic from South Africa some weeks ago, and is now at Kihikihi, AVaikato.
