The House met at - 2.00 p.m. The debate on the Dunedin Star breach of privilege ease was continued throughout the afternoon. Mr Fisher’s amendment to impose a fine of iWO was negatived by 4'2 votes to 18. EVENING SITTING. The House resumed at 7.150 p.m. The debate on the breach of privilege case was continued. Mr McGowan moved to amend the Premier’s motion, by striking out the words declaring that the expression of regret given by Mr Cohen be accepted by the House “ as satisfactory. ' A very long debate ensued, which was interrupted by the 10.30 adjournment, and the House rose.
