(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The House met at 2.30 p.m. The financial debate was carried on during the afternoon, the speakers being Messrs O’Meara, McGuire, and Major Steward. , EVENING SITTING.
The House* resumed at 7.30 p.tn. The financial debate was continued throughout the evening, the speakers hc-ing Messrs T. McKenzie, Symes, Bollard, and Carncross. The debate was proceeding when the Telegraph Office closed.
