By Telegraph—Press Association. Invcrcargilll last night. Tiic first annual meeting of tho Southland Banners Co-operative Association was held at Gore to-day. The business having practically been commenced since the balance-sheet was made up, there was little to report. The Chairman (Mr Murdoch) said that they had since sold 20,000 bags of oats, 4000 live stock, manures, etc., and were now prepared to supply all farmers’requirements, domestic and otherwise. It was resolved that when five hundred shares arc taken in the southern and western districts the head office will bo removed to Invercargill.
