Abattoirs at Napier.

Napier, last night. A special meeting of tho Borough Council was held at noon to-day, when it was decided to raise a loan of XSOOO from the Government for the purpose of erecting abattoirs. Tho loan will necessitate a three-farthings rate, but the abattoirs fees will more than compensate this.
