A HIT AT GISBORNE,

Waihi, last night. A public meeting resolved to urge on the Government to push on the lino to Paeroa with all possible speed, as the need of a railway’ was daily felt. It also expressed confidence in the Government and its administration, as regards fostering industry and labor legislation.
