FREIGHT REDUCED.

Wellington, last night. The shipping companies have reduced the freight on poultry to South Africa and London to 2s per cubic foot, which is equal to Is Id per pair, about 6d less than at present. This includes all such charges as wharfage, insurance, grading, and packing.
