At the Supreme Court /Arthur Nelson, a trick cyclist, was found guilty of unlawfully using an instrument, and was sentenced to five years’ hard labor. Thomas John Whiteman, who had been charged at Nelson, was acquitted. John Saywell, aged 26 years, and John Chalman, aged 84, were sentenced to IS months each for assault with intent to rob.
