Sydney, Aug. 22. The weather is clearing. In the Assembly the Women's Franchise Bill was read a second time by 51 against 7. The railway revenue for the past'year shows an increase of .£410,000, and the tramways revenue increased £142,000, compared with the previous year, both being records. The nett surplus on the two services is £126,000. Adelaide, Aug. 22. The estimates of expenditure show a decrease of £307,000 compared with the previous year, due to the transference of several Departments of the Commonwealth.
