PRESBYTERIAN PROTEST.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. On the 16th ult. the Hawke’s Bay Presbytery, on behalf of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, communicated with the Premier, strongly protesting against Sunday work in the various branches of the
Public Service, and more particularly upon the railways, where it had been most prominent in connection with the Royal reception.
