CERTIFICATE OE EXEMPTION

By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. Before the Conciliation Board the Colonial Sugar lielining Company applied for exemption from the Workmen’s Compensation for Accidents Act, which provides that the Board may, after ascertaining the views of employers and workers, certify that any scheme of compensation is not less favorable than the provisions of tlio Act, and permit such scheme to be substituted. 'The Board agreed to issue a certificate of exemption forthwith.
