Kruitzingor’s commando, many without horses, has re-crossed the Orango River. British columns are pursuing and shelling them. Remington’s Yeomanry havo daily encounters with the enemy. Five hundred Boers are at Faurcsmith district, against whom several women on horseback arc collecting horses.

THE REFUGEE CAMPS,

Colonel Gorringe on the 13th killed 20 Boors, and captured Kruitzingcr's secretary, with a quantity of documents. Tho Daily News says that the resistance in the Orange River Colony has ended. The Boers are inclined in their last extrei 'by to become desperate. Thero aro 91,940 whites, and 24,547 colored peoplo in the refugee camps. During July the deaths of whites numbered 1412.* Thoso who died were largoly victims of moasles.
THE NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENTS.

Wellington, last night. Tho Premier has received tho following cable messago : “ Tho Seventh Contingent has mado another large convoy capture. Officers and men all well. —Major Abuott, commanding.” Advice has been received from tho Defence Office, Sydney, that a number of troopers from South Africa are passcugors by tho Waihora, duo in Wellington on Wednesday. Their names are : Sergt. DoLautour, Corporal Griffiths, Privates Suttee, Scown, Findlatcr, Orr, Sharpin, Pctchel, Dashwood, Sutherland, Watson, Pordrcll, Chapman, Hamilton, Wright, and Juriss.
