ANOTHER ATTACK.

News has been received that the German cruiser Cormoran landed parties of' sailors to punish tho natives at St. Mathias Island in connection with the murder of Herr Mcncke. The natives were surrounded and surprised. They fought determinedly, eighty being killed aud seventeen prisoners taken, who were sentenced to deportation with hard labor on plantations. Another outrage is reported from New Britain. Some natives attacked a German trader named Wolff, and killed his wife and a native boy. Wolff defended himself until the arrival of assistance.
