Tho coffin containing the body of the Empress was borne by a dozen infantry, with soldiers bearing torches marching on either side of the Emperor. On reaching tho chancel Emperor William deposited a wreath, and then sank in prayor. Tho whole congregation followed. King Edward has arrived at Flushing, and proceeded to Hamburg. Received Aug. 12,10.40 p.m. Berlin, Aug. 12.
Enormous crowds gathered at Kroiiberg. There was a great military pageant. Doctor Dryander, Court Chaplain, officiated at tho impressive funeral service. Tho Kaiser was present, dressed in tho uniform of tho late Empress’s regiment of Black Hussars, and led Queen Alexandria to a seat. King Edward, in the blue uniform of tho Prussian Dragoons, led the Kaiserin to a seat. Besides relatives, there were present Count Von Bulow, Count Waldorscc, Lord Clarendon, Admiral John Fullerton Lascelles, and tho Bishop of Ripon. Tho Royalties started for rotsdam during the night.
