Legislative Council.
The Council met at 2.G0. The Labor Bills Committee brought down their report on the Shops and Offices Bill. Generally speaking tho wholesale warehouse clauses are struck out, hut the sanitation and extra time book provisions still apply to warehouses. Banks and insurance officials remain within the scope of tho Bill. The Police Offences Act Amendment Bill was passed through the final stages.
