LATE PARLIAMENTARY.
(l!y Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The House met at 2.G0 p.m. The debate on the second reading of the Hating on Unimproved Values Act Amendment Bill lasted the whole afternoon, and was interrupted by tho 5.G0 adjournment.
EVENING SITTING
The House resumed at 7.G0 p.m
The debate on tho second reading of the llatingou Unimproved Values Act Amendment Bill was carried on for an hour, when it was adjourned, and Mr Scddon announced that Sir John McKenzie had passed away at 7.G0, his end being peace, lie moved the adjournment of the House, and added that later on lie would move a further adjournment, as many members would like to pay their last respects to their old comrade. Tho adjournment was agreed to, and the House rose at 8.30 p.m.
